mieke song
literary & visual arts manager
About
Mieke is a nonbinary and chaotic queer arts manager that is most passionate about the literary and visual arts scene in Singapore. Their love for the arts is fueled by an insatiable appetite for illustration, comics, poetry, and sci-fi, and motivated by a strong belief in the power of arts advocacy and research.
Mieke's experience in arts programming and exhibition & festival management has seen them happiest when deep in the madness of executing an arts event. They thrive off the satisfaction of bringing people together and seeing all the late nights of hard work come to fruition!
As an arts manager, they hope to always highlight underappreciated artforms and convince more people to give money to the arts!
